ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE |

In February 2012, Trayvon Martin was shot in Sanford, Florida - by a man from the neighborhood, skin color and clothing of the teenager as sufficient grounds for be suspicion. Martin's fate moved Ricardo de Paula, the life-world of the teenager with his own experience and many other people to join in a dance piece. The body is the physical presence that moves with and in all of their gender, ethnic and social meanings. He is the source of cultural identity and the social construct. In the body of the young blacks in the hoodie to the realities of life, stereotypes and fears reflect. They combine with the help of Get Physical Process in de Paula dancing with the characters of the story.
